Valido Trail

A one mile round trip hike uphill in Laguna Beach, CA

The Valido trail was a fun one. The fog was intense on the morning we went. With all the rain we’ve had in So Cal, all of the flowers were vibrant and everywhere. We had two children with us, my four year old and one year old daughter. The youngest was in a carrier and the older did well walking on her own. There are many stair steps and very steep drop offs. So use caution with small children. We had to hold hands with our four year old for parts of the trail.
Once we made it to the top there was one bench. On a clear day you can see the ocean and Coast highway below. It was fantastic being immersed in nature for awhile.
