This blog is for everyone who loves the outdoors and going on adventures with kids.

Every month I will share a post featuring an outdoor adventure or a fun thing to do in Southern California. Hopefully it will inspire you to get outside with your family and highlight some cool places to see.

Why?

As a child, I grew up on a small farm in Tennessee and loved being outside. I was five years old and roaming the fields and making mud pies everyday with Buttons, my golden Labrador. At age 24, My mom retired from teaching and we moved together to Orange County, CA. Once I saw the ocean for the first time in my life, I was obsessed. I would end every day walking along the shore, taking pictures.

Now with two girls of my own, I love to explore and share my love of nature with them. And I love seeing how happy and creative they become once we step outside.
