Mission San Juan Capistrano - Historical Landmark, Chapel and Museum

IMGP2897.jpg

Today my family and I made an impromptu trip to the Mission San Juan Capistrano. It is 7 of the 21 California Missions and almost 243 years old! It is considered the “Jewel” of all the missions because of the Great Stone Church, now in ruins due to the 1812 earthquake, located there. We had a historical blast observing the architecture, stone walls and elegant interiors. Be sure to check out the cute gift shop before leaving.
